Jean Favre, Swiss National Supercomputing Center, will be presenting at McMaster University, Thursday, October 25, to be broadcast over AccessGrid. Dr Favre is an expert in visualization and will show examples from several disciplines that can gain from using this type of equipment. The afternoon hands-on will focus on running parallel visualization on SVA in different ways, such as remote rendering, multi-tile display, etc. This is an opportunity to see what our new parallel visualization system can do.
