Dr. Barbara M. Chapman, University of Houston’s Computer Science department, will be at the University of Windsor on Friday, February 22, 2008, to give an OpenMP presentation to be broadcast over AccessGrid. OpenMP (Open Multi-Processing) is an industry standard for shared memory parallel programming which is widely supported. The OpenMP standard is maintained and further developed by the OpenMP Architecture Review Board (ARB) with the participation of leading computer vendors. This talk will give an overview of OpenMP, the applications and recent work in the OpenMP development in which the speaker is involved. |
