Speaker: Dr. Colin Ingalls, Department of of Mathematics and Statistics, University of New Brunswick We will give several examples of noncommutative surfaces and present their classification for noncommutative surfaces which are finite over their centres. We will also discuss interactions with algebraic geometry and noncommutative algebra.
