Megaconference Jr.

Now in its fifth year, Megaconference Jr. is a day-long world-wide videoconference involving thousands of students and teachers from all over the world. Students in elementary and secondary schools tune in and participate in real time, with presentations and activities focused on both academic and cultural issues. Participants are able to address questions to presenters and to collaborate with geographically diverse peers in collaborative learning activities, thus building international cultural awareness.

Ontario schools are once again front and centre on the program, most enabled through their school board’s connection to ORION.
