Speaker: Jemmy Hu, SHARCNET Gaussian, ADF and NWChem are the popular Computational Chemistry Software. SHARCNET has large Gaussian user groups running SHARCNET Gaussian license or campus site license on specific clusters. ADF is a new licensed package on SHARCNET for DFT based computations. NWChem is a free parallel package available on most of SHARCNET clusters. In this seminar, we will talk about the features of the software, SHARCNET license issues, usages, particularly the correct use of Gaussian, etc. This seminar is for all current Gaussian, ADF and NWChem users. We also hope to get feedbacks or concerns from the software user community. |
