Large Area Optical Characterization of Self-Organized Nanostructured GaSb
Dr. Ingve Simonsen, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), will be at the University of Windsor on Thursday, August 7, 2008, to give a presentation on modelling optical properties of nanostructured surfaces, to be broadcast over AccessGrid.
In this talk, Dr. Simonsen will briefly review the self-organized formation of nanostructures in the semiconducting material Gallium Antimonide (GaSb) and show examples of their local structures. Then he will present some recent optical attempts, based on Mueller matrix spectroscopic ellipsometry, of large area characterization of (sub-wavelength) GaSb nanostructures. <a href = “http://web.phys.ntnu.no/~ingves/”>Dr. Simonsen’s website
