HPCS'09

HPCVL is pleased to announce that it is organizing and hosting the 2009 High Performance Computing Symposium (HPCS) at Queen’s University at Kingston June 14-17.

HPCS is a multidisciplinary conference that focuses on research involving High Performance Computing and its application. Attended by Canadian and international experts and renowned researchers in the sciences, engineering, mathematics, life sciences, medicine, humanities and social sciences and the applied sciences, it is Canada’s pre-eminent forum for HPC.

Researchers are invited to submit papers for presentations and/or posters that will be included in the conference proceedings if accepted. The registration and paper submission web sites will be up and accepting registrations and submissions in November. In addition to the research program, there will be an exhibition with software and hardware vendors presenting some of their latest products.

Importantly, a series of workshops will also be held to help train people in the latest techniques and methodologies. Three such workshops are currently scheduled and will run from the 17th until the 19th.
