HPCVL is offering two three-day workshops on parallel programming using OpenMP, Posix Threads, and MPI. They will take place on the following dates:

University of Ottawa:

  • Nov. 25 “Introduction to OpenMP”, 20 Stewart Street Rm 105
  • Nov. 26 “Introduction to Posix Multithreading”, 20 Stewart Street Rm 105
  • Nov. 27 “Introduction to MPI”, Cube Bldg. Rm 202

HPCVL, Kingston: all at HPCVL Main Office, 993 Princess St., Suite 115

  • Nov. 30, “Introduction to OpenMP”
  • Dec. 1, “Introduction to Posix Multithreading”
  • Dec. 2, “Introduction to MPI”

These workshops are open to everyone and there is no registration fee. Each unit is self-contained so that participants may join any or all.
