2013 Summer School (Central) on high performance computing will be hosted at University of Toronto from May 6 to 9. This four day summer school includes lectures and labs on different topics related to high performance and parallel computing on modern computers. In particular, attendees will learn how to program distributed memory systems--networked computers--known as “clusters”, shared memory multicore systems and GPUs. The attendees will also have a chance to have a review on the basics of computing and the technique and software packages for data visualization.
