2014 Summer School (Central) on high performance computing will be hosted at University of Toronto from June 9 to 13. This five day summer school includes lectures and labs on programming distributed and multicore systems as well as scientific visualization. Attendees will learn how to program distributed memory systems--networked computers--known as “clusters”, shared memory multicore systems and GPUs. The attendees will also have a chance to have a review on the basics of computing and the technique and software packages for data visualization.
