| Abstract |
Subsonic round vertical jets of Helium, Air and Hydrogen are investigated using Large Eddy Simulations at low (Ma < 0.3) Mach numbers. The influence of buoyancy on the jet spread rate, velocity evolution and mixing characteristics is investigated. Numerical results are compared with in-house experiments and data published in the literature. |
