Abstract |
We report a Monte Carlo simulation of the Trp-cage miniprotein with the ECEPP/3 potential using the recently proposed basin paving global optimization method. The lowest energy conformation in vacuo has been located. It is similar to the NMR structure (PDB code 1L2Y). The backbone root mean square deviation between them is 2.24 AA. |
