Abstract	The ionization of hydrogen atoms by electron impact was investigated by using the Dirac equations to calculate triple-differential cross sections and spin asymmetry parameters. Results were compared with those obtained from using the more usual Schroedinger equation approach. Improved agreement with experimental measurements were obtained.
